Message from the President

And we had "fun, fun, fun till her daddy took the T-bird away." Truly October, November and December have been fun months for our Chapter.  But check out our program schedule for January through June, because we are not done yet.  We have some great programs lined up that you won't want to miss.

We are nearly at year's end and looking forward to 2010.  What's on your resolutions list.  New year's resolutions come in all shapes and sizes, as do we.  With our personal and professional development in mind, we should turn our thoughts to the Power of Commitment.  Whatever our resolutions may be, we need to invoke the power of commitment to be successful.  I challenge our membership to come and join us at Chapter meetings to take advantage of the opportunity to network and fellowship.  And bring a friend.

We all bring our own talents and treasures to the Chapter, but our most valuable contribution is our commitment to one another.  We joined this organization because we are committed to pursuing excellence in our personal and professional lives.  We joined because we wanted to be associated with like minded professionals.  We joined because we wanted time for "me."  We joined for a variety of selfish and unselfish reasons, but no matter what the reason, we need to renew our commitment to ourselves and to one another.

You are IAAP; excellence in action; professionals achieving the extraordinary.  Together we can accomplish more than we ever dreamed possible.  Together we are a powerful support network.  Together we are strong.  Each day we renew our commitment to do our very best in the marketplace to serve our organizations and our customers.   Let's do it together.

Life is just too short to be ordinary!

LaVonne Goldschmidt CPS/CAP
2009-2010 President
